Guild dues are normally paid via a bi-weekly payroll deduction. While your dues are based on a set percentage of your salary, the amount paid each pay period is up to the member and can only be changed by the member. If you would like to change your dues, download the payroll deduction form, fill in the correct amount, sign it and turn it in to Human Resources.
The statement you receive every other month in the mail is not a bill, but an indicator of how much you owe versus how much you've paid. A positive balance means you're behind a bit, and a negative balance means we owe you money. New members usually take several months to pay off their initiation fee and no adjustment is necessary. Usually after a period of time, members get pay raises and as a result may fall behind on dues if they don't adjust their deductions. Please check your statements from time to time. If you owe more than $75, you don't get to vote in Guild elections!
If you have questions about your dues, contact Juliet Granger at 834-7626 or send her an
e-mail. She can also provide a statement at year's end for members wanting to deduct dues from their taxes.
